How do I know if ________ is unhealthy?

This will vary by person because we all have different boundaries and things that we feel comfortable with. You can trust your instincts and emotions to tell you how you feel about situation – if you feel worried, scared, anxious, sad, overwhelmed, etc., those could all be signs that you feel uncomfortable with what is happening. If you’d like to talk about it more with an advocate, our YAYA (Youth and Young Adults) Services could be a great fit. An advocate can meet you at convenient location such as coffee shop, fast food restaurant or library and talk more with you about what’s happening.
